Your Hosts;

Peter and Karen MacDonald are born and bred South Islanders who choose to call the AAA Marlin Motel, Picton home.

They have run the motel since 1998, and enjoyed a love affair with the Marlborough Sounds region for many years previously.

"It's so diverse here and the area has become a magnet for people from all over the world who love and appreciate life," they say.

"We want people to feel they've had a warm, friendly stay in their home away from home, and leave feeling they've had a real holiday."

They are both actively involved in the Picton Sounds area, providing a good up to date awareness of activities, changes and people to see.

The most popular hosts at AAA Marlin Motel are actually Bizalom and Szandek, our Hungarian Viszla dogs aged 9 months apart. Many of you are more eager to meet them than anything else. Whilst others appreciate their willingness to leave alone those who don't want their attention.

They are very intelligent dogs, full of expression and character, each with their own very distinct personality.
